Facebook Business pages can be confusing and frustrating. That’s why we’re here to help!
So you were able to capture the rare post-like from someone who doesn’t already like your page. First of all, congratulations! Because of Facebook’s algorithm, that’s not always easy to do. It takes hard work, great followers, and a bit of luck to get that person to see your post and like it.
The feat you want to accomplish next is to keep your posts in front of that person. Unless they like your page, the chances of that are 3,720 to 1. Well, not really; those were the odds C3-PO gave Han in the Empire Strikes Back, but they’re still pretty high unless you do something to get that person to like your page. If you convert a post like into a page like, Facebook is much more likely to keep your posts, events, and updates in that person’s feed.
So, what do you do? Amazingly, Facebook makes it easy to invite people to like your page. Take out your phone and look at your last post. Press on the likes and you’ll get a list that looks like this:
Along the right hand side, you’ll see a couple of different things. For the people who like your page, you’ll just see the word “Liked.” For people who don’t already like your page, you’ll see the word “Invite.” All you have to do is press the word “invite” and they’ll receive a notification inviting them to like your page. If they do, fantastic. The likelihood of seeing your future posts goes up by a huge percentage.

Who does the invite come from?
If the person you invite to like your business page has email notifications turned on, then the invite will come from your personal Facebook profile. However, if the person does not have email notifications turned on (most people), then the invite will show up in their Facebook notifications as an invite from your page.
This is an easy and effective strategy that can really help orthodontists grow their Facebook followers! We definitely recommend trying it out.
